Customs and Immigration Canada, officially the Department of Customs and Immigration, is an executive department of the Canadian federal government, which is led by the Minister of Customs and Immigration who is a senior member of the Cabinet of Canada. Customs and Immigration Canada is responsible for overseeing all matters relating to Canada's international border, including administering the visa and citizenship application process and operating all international border crossings. Its two largest subordinate agencies are the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and the Canadian Board of Immigration and Citizenship (CBIC).
