Kindi Centre
The Kindi Centre (Arabic: مكتب كندي maktab kindī), known until 2011 as The Triangle (Arabic: النثلث al-muthallath) an 11-story-tall equilateral traingle-shaped office building which has served, since its completion in September 1988, as the official headquarters of the Joint Security Committee (Emni) of the Arab Union. Located on the northwest corner of University Square in Bab el-Mutasarref, Nasseria, it is named after former Director of the Joint Security Committee Roman Kindi. In addition to its eleven above-ground floors, it also is believed to have an additional five subterranean floors, the first serving as a normal basement, its middle two for the purposes of a detention area, and its bottom two as an extensive bomb shelter. It is one of the most secure buildings in Nasseria, likely after only the Presidential Palace and Ministry of Defence headquarters.
