Naval Medical Corps (Arab Union)

The Naval Medical Corps (Arabic: فيلق الطب البحري faylaq aṭ-ṭibb al-baḥrī) is an administrative corps of the Arab Navy, consisting of the Navy's combat medical personnel who are responsible for providing preventative and emergency medical treatment to military personnel. It is the second-largest corps coming under the umbrella of the Defence Medical Corps, after the Army Medical Corps. Its commander is appointed by and answers to the Naval Chief of Staff.
