Jump to navigationJump to searchThe Pan-Arab Army Police (PAA Police; Arabic: شرطة جيش عموم العروب shurṭat jaysh ʿumūm al-ʿurūb) was the civilian police force agency under the nominal command of the Pan-Arab Army during the first phase of the Arab Wars of Unification. It became the National Police of the Arab Union in 1955; this change removed its structure from the direct command of the Union Defence Forces (UDF) and placed it under the Ministry of Interior of the civilian government of the Arab Union.
