Premier of Alberta

The Premier of Alberta is the head of government of the Canadian province of Alberta. The title "premier" is used by the heads of government of all 13 provinces and five territories of Canada. The Premier of Alberta chairs the Alberta Executive Council, and is responsible for appointing and dismissing member of the council, who serve as ministers chairing an executive department. The incumbent Premier of Alberta is Jason Kenney of the Alberta Conservative Party, in office since 30 April 2019.
