Jump to navigationJump to searchAdra (Arabic: عدرا) is a municipality and important industrial city in the Syrian Arab Republic, located approximately 20 km northeast of Damascus. It is home to many large industries and factories, as well as Adra Nuclear Power Station, the largest nuclear power plant in the Arab Union by physical size and energy output. According to the December 2020 census, Adra had a population of 188,340, although this number is almost tripled during weekdays by the multitudes of commuters who work in the city.
