Jump to navigationJump to searchAyman Abu Atwan (Arabic: ايمن ابو عطوان; b. 18 August 1966 in Damascus) is a Syrian journalist and editor. Since April 1998, Abu Atwan has served as editor-in-chief of The Damascus Post, the Arab Union's most widely circulated Arabic-language daily newspaper. Abu Atwan has also published ten political essays and four novels of the science fiction genre, and is a regular panelist on the Al-Arabiya news channel. Abu Atwan owns nearly 10% of shares of National Press, the parent company of The Damascus Post. He resides in the Damascus suburb of Mezze with his wife and two teenage daughters.
