The British Columbia Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) is an office of the provincial government of British Columbia within the BC Ministry of Justice. The Chief Constable of the British Columbia Provincial Police (BCPP) answers to the BC Police & Crime Commissioner, who is a deputy of the Attorney General of British Columbia within the BC Ministry of Justice. The BC Police & Crime Commissioner is appointed by the Premier of British Columbia on advice of the Attorney General.
