Chief Justice of Palestine

The Chief Justice of Palestine (Arabic: رئيس القضاة ra’īs al-qaḍāh) is the top judicial office in the Palestinian Arab Republic, appointed by the Governor of Palestine to preside over the Supreme Court. The Chief Justice presides over eight puisne judges, the senior of which acts on behalf of the Chief Justice during his/her absence.
