Jump to navigationJump to searchIn the administrative hierarchy of the Arab Union, at both the federal and governorate/republican levels, a directorate (Arabic: إدارة idārah) is a usually executive agency subordinate to a ministry or state committee (the latter existing only at the federal level), which is responsible for carrying out a particular area of responsibility within the wider purview of the responsible ministry or state committee.
