Faris Saadallah as-Sahli al-Anjari (Arabic: فارس سعد الله السهلي العنجري; b. 5 October 1986) is a Lebanese accountant and the current Chairman of the State Revenue Committee, in office since November 2016. Born to a Maronite Catholic family in Anjar, a small city in the Beqaa District of Lebanon, he attended Gamal Abdel Nasser University in the Arab Union capital city of Nasseria from 2004 to 2006, graduating with an associate's degree in accounting. As-Sahli worked for the accounting firm JCC Abboud & Company in Nasseria from 2007 to mid-2010, before founding his own accounting firm As-Sahli Financial Management in late 2010, which he led before selling it to JCC Abboud & Company in April 2015. Immediately afterward, he successfully applied for Deputy Chairman of the government of the Arab Union's State Revenue Committee, starting the position in May 2015 and working under longtime Chairman Ibrahim Abdullah Seiko; following Seiko's retirement in November 2016, as-Sahli was promoted to Chairman, retaining the position ever since. As-Sahli has been married since December 2020 to Yasmin Azarian, current Personal aide to the President of the Arab Union; the couple and their two young children live together in the Nasseria district of Kiryat Shams, and also own a retreat home on the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe, which the family visits most summers during the holiday period.
