Jump to navigationJump to searchThe Flag of the King Christian Islands was adopted in 1922 to distinguish the Danish overseas territory from Denmark and the rest of the Danish Realm itself. It consists of a red flag, the same hue as that of the Flag of Denmark (the Dannebrog), with the Dannebrog in the canton and the Southern Cross (Crux) on the right field, similar to the Southern Cross adopted on the Flag of Australia about 19 years earlier.
