Island of Vancouver

The Island of Vancouver is an island in Western Canada which is the namesake of the Canadian province of Vancouver Island and home to the vast majority of its population. The island is separated from the Province of British Columbia by the Georgia Strait. The most populous city on the island is Victoria, located at the southern tip of the island, which is also the centre of the largest urban area of the province and its capital city.
