Manbij Municipality

The Municipality of Manbij (Arabic: بلدية منبج baladiyat manbij) is one of the municipalities (also known as council areas) of the Syrian Arab Republic. According to the 2020 Arab Union census, it has a population of 304,239. Its administrative seat and largest urban settlement is the namesake city of Manbij. The municipality shares a border to the north with Turkey, and is bounded to the east by the River Euphrates.
