Mount Sinai Council

The Mount Sinai Council (Arabic: مجلس جبل السيناء majlis jabal as-sīnā’) is the council area (municipality) which accounts for most cities, towns and villages in the central-south region of the Sinai, Palestine, Arab Union. It is one of 17 council areas in the Sinai region. As of the 2020 Arab Union census, the Mount Sinai Council has a population of 233,329. Its administrative centre is the city of St. Catherine's.
