Nasser City Court of Appeals
The Nasser City Court of Appeals (Arabic: محكمة الاستئناف لمدينة الناصر maḥkamat al-isti’ināf li-madīnat an-nāṣir) is the appellate court and de facto superior court of Nasser City, the federal capital of the Arab Union and its fourth-most populous city. The Nasser City Court of Appeals hears trials at the New City Courthouse on Tishreen Square in the borough of Ibrahimia. It is led by the Nasser City Appellate Justice, the most senior non-federal judicial official in the capital city, who hears the Nasser City Court of Appeals' most important trials, and who oversees the three puisne (junior) justices responsible for hearing all other appeals. The Nasser City Court of Appeals also acts as the capital's superior court, as its verdicts can be further appealed only in the Arab Union's two federal courts, namely the Court of Appeals of the Arab Union and Supreme Court of the Arab Union (which are also located on Tishreen Square along with the Nasser City Central Court).
