The Capital metropolitan community (Arabic: الجماعة الحضرية للعاصمة al-jamāʿah al-ḥaḍrīyah lil-ʿāṣimah), informally known as Greater Nasseria (الناصريا الكبرى an-nāṣiriyā al-kubrā) or the Capital Metropole (حاضرة العاصمة ḥāḍirat al-ʿāṣimah), is a census metropolitan community centred on Nasseria, national capital of the Arab Union. It is defined by the Central Bureau of Statistics as the contiguous built environment anchored by the Capital District's immediate core city, surrounding cities in Syria, Palestine and Jordan, up to and including suburban towns within the surrounding commuter belt, and delimited by the Green Horseshoe.
