Jump to navigationJump to searchThe National Fire and Rescue Authority (Arabic: سلطة النار والإنقاذ الوطنية sulṭat an-nār wal-inqādh al-waṭanīyah) is the national fire department of the Arab Union, with stations in all populated areas. It is responsible for fighting fires as well as providing rescue to persons in extreme life-threatening situations that the ambulances of the National Health Authority cannot reach. The National Fire and Rescue Authority is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Transportation.
