Shyobu (Rangyayo: 首堡), Shobu or Syobu is a walled city dating to the mid-14th century which has served since its establishment as the seat of the monarchy of Rangya. Located within the local government area administered by Shyobu Council, Shyobu consists almost entirely of the walled 3.2 km2 city on the northern shore of Lake Shyobu, surrounded by other suburban communities of Shyobu Council. The city has an estimated 2021 population of 51,100.
