Jump to navigationJump to searchTiberias Avenue (Arabic: طريق طبريا ṭarīq ṭabariyā; Hebrew: שדרת טבריה sderat taberyah) is a major thoroughfare in Palestine which forms part of highway 90, connecting Nasser City to Capernaum via Tiberias, running along the western shoreline of the Sea of Galilee. Due to its routinely high volume of traffic, the avenue consists of at least two lanes in either direction for the entirety of its length, with up to four lanes per direction in Nasser City and parts of its metropolitan area. For much of its length, Tiberias Avenue runs parallel to a major railroad connecting Nasser City to Beirut.
