The Union Mint (Arabic: السكّ الاتحادي as-sakk al-ittiḥādī) is the institution responsible for minting the Union dinar, the national currency of the Arab Union. It is owned and operated by the Arab Union Central Bank, which is responsible for issuing the Union dinar and setting national interest rates. The Union Mint is located on Marjeh Square in Damascus, Syria, where all hard currency (coins and bills) is manufactured.
