Jebel Hermonat
Jebel Hermonat (Arabic: جبل الهرمونات) is a Syrian municipality and township located in the northern Golan Heights, consisting of four distinct towns/villages (Buqata, Ras el-Ahmar, Aleika and El-Roum) and the surrounding farmland and rural pastures. According to the census of December 2020, the municipality had a total population of 14,338, just under half of whom resided in Buqata, the location of Jebel Hermonat's municipal council and other government and public facilities, including the municipality's only police station, fire station, post office, gas station, medical clinic, pharmacy, grocery store and public elementary school. The nearest secondary school is located in the municipality of Masada, about four kilometres to the north of Buqata.
