Stevenson International Airport (IATA: YWG, ICAO: CYWG) is the primary international airport serving Southern Manitoba, located in Assiniboia Downs, Springfield County, just over one kilometre west of the Winnipeg city limits. Stevenson Int'l Airport consists of two runways of orientation 36L/18R and 36R/18L, 3880 m and 3558 m in length, respectively, and one runway of orientation 31/13, 3055 m in length. It accounts for nearly 70% of the bidirectional air transport for the Winnipeg Metropolitan Area.

The airport was opened in 1928 as Stevenson Aerodrome, in honour of noted Manitoba aviator and pioneer bush pilot Captain Fred J. Stevenson. Adjacent to Stevenson Int'l Airport is CFB Murray Park, a medium Canadian Army and Aerospace Forces active duty base and specialised training centre located in the Springfield County township of Murray Park. While all equipment and facilities, including aircraft hangars, are CFB Murray Park property, the Aerospace Forces use the otherwise civilian-exclusive runways of Stevenson International Airport in Assiniboia Downs for aircraft takeoff and landing.

The second, smaller international airport serving the Winnipeg Metropolitan Area is St. Andrews International Airport in Parkdale, St. Andrews County. It consists of a single runway of orientation 5/22, 4115 metres in length. In addition to serving as a discount passenger airport, St. Andrews Int'l Airport is also the primary air cargo terminal of the Winnipeg Metropolitan Area.
