The Political Bureau of the National Command of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party (Maksis); Arabic: المكتب السياسي للقيادة القومية لحزب البعث العربي الاشتراكي al-maktab as-siyāsī lil-qiyādah al-qawmīyah li-ḥizb al-ba‘ath al-‘arabī al-ishtirākī, abbr. المكسيس al-maksīs) is the seniormost decision-making body in the National Command of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, which makes all political decisions between committee sessions of the National Command, which are then subject to review at following sessions (typically occurring every one to two weeks).

The National Command elects the Maksis, which meets daily and is responsible for acting on the National Command's behalf. As such, the Maksis acts as the highest organ of the Ba'ath Party in day-to-day practice and the de facto highest political office of the Arab Union. Members of the Maksis have important roles within the federal government: for example, in addition to the National Secretary, who chairs the Maksis, the Deputy National Secretary is typically the Premier of the Arab Union, while the remaining five permaneny members, as of 2025, consist of the Minister of Defence, Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Joint Security Committee, Director-General of the National Police Authority, and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
